Infrapipe - Pan Pacific

Case Study

Pan Pacific

Overview

  • INFRAPIPE™ is delighted to share a recent project completed in the steep and hilly Hawkes Bay region.
  • For this project, Infrapipe manufactured large DN3200 SN7.57 forestry culverts.
  • The culverts were PE100 spiral wound CPR pipes.

Benefits & Solutions

Initially, there were plans to put a bridge in; however, the limited access to the creek bed made the project unsuitable for a crane.

  • The increased cost associated with a bridge made INFRAPIPE™ an attractive alternative.
  • Our DN3200 pipes have a much lower weight than concrete, making INFRAPIPE™ the most suitable business for this project.

Challenges

The challenges encountered were due to the project’s restricted site access and cost. We provided a cost-effective solution and a pipe that could be maneuvered using a digger.
