This project highlights innovation, teamwork, and tailored infrastructure solutions that support the Healthy Waters Programme and deliver meaningful environmental improvements for Tāmaki Makaurau’s waterways.

Existing Conditions
- Supporting and improving stormwater infrastructure is critical to protecting Tāmaki Makaurau’s waterways.
- This project required a tailored approach to meet site-specific conditions and environmental goals.
Work in Progress
- Infrapipe was engaged by Auckland Council Healthy Waters to come up with a solution. Infrapipe visited the site and carried out a survey to formulate an engineered solution.
Solution involved a custom-built saddle to be bolted to the concrete manhole to carry the water to a bubble up chamber to break down the speed of flow
Final Outcome
- The completed works support the Healthy Waters programme and contribute to long-term environmental improvements.
- This project reflects innovation, teamwork, and reliable infrastructure solutions that help build stronger, more resilient communities.
